Introducing Iota - DEMA's Latest Innovation in Ultra-Lean Metering

Introducing the Iota Lean Metering Device—a new multi-application solution for handling today’s highly concentrated chemicals.

St. Louis, MO – November 3, 2025 – After a highly successful field trial and extensive development period, the Iota Lean Metering Device is finally ready to hit the market and transform the way you approach chemical dilution.

Precision and Flexibility

Iota is engineered to allow users to achieve significantly leaner dilution rates than traditional metering tips, giving you greater control over your chemical costs and usage.

The secret lies in its configurable design. Iota comes with multiple color-coded discs that you can insert into the device in various configurations. This means you can tailor the dilution rate to the exact needs of your specific application. Along with providing reliable configurations, Iota also features a quick, tool-free setup with positive stop fittings and built-in debris protection.

Set It and Forget It

In our field testing, the feedback was clear. Our customers wanted a stable dilution device that was tamper resistant. So, we built Iota to deliver consistent and accurate results that you could install today, come back in several months, and it would still be pulling the same dilution rate. Our engineers also ensured the chemical pathways in Iota are much larger than our ultra-lean tips. This key feature will help alleviate clogging that can be seen with some chemical products. The inlet strainer further ensures protection from foreign debris, giving you peace of mind that your system is protected.

A Seamless Addition

Iota is the perfect complement to your existing setup and works seamlessly with any of our wall-mounted systems, Rocket Injectors, Sentinel Float Valves, Fusion, and more.

Why is Ultra-Lean Dilution Important?

To realize the benefits of producing today’s highly concentrated chemicals, chemical companies and distributors need to rely on consistent and accurate equipment to properly dilute their product. When properly achieved, the advantages of ultra-lean dilution equipment like Iota is seen in terms of sustainability and waste reduction, safety, and customer value.

Iota covers—and goes beyond—the range of traditional ultra-lean and capillary tips. With the ability to accurately dilute past 1000:1 ratios, Iota is perfect for achieving leaner dilutions than ever before. Whether you are diluting sanitizers, presoak chemicals, or highly concentrated cleaners, Iota can dilute these accurately, safely, and with less maintenance than other methods.
